In 1991 Norma McCulloch invented, developed and patented a new type of Linear Displacement Manual Resuscitator and in 1993 established McCulloch Medical™. The unit was manufactured to the International Standard for Human Resuscitators. The product line was acquired by Genesis Industries, Inc. in 2007.

Initially in response to the need for a unit to resuscitate calves, an easy-to-use Calf Resuscitator was developed using the same technology as the human unit. This proved so successful that a range of units were developed for Foals, Lambs, Piglets, Llama and Alpaca Crias, Dogs, Cats, Birds and Zoo animals. Demand has led to sales in 32 countries world-wide.

All Animal Resuscitators are manufactured to the same International Standard as the Human units. EVERY unit is performance tested and includes the McCulloch Medical™ 2-year replacement warranty.

To supplement the Resuscitator product line, a range of high quality, durable masks has also been developed for Aspiration, Resuscitation, Aerosol Therapy, Anesthesia and Oxygen Recovery in sizes to suit a wide range of animals. These also carry the McCulloch Medical™ 2 year replacement warranty.
