ASPIRATOR MASKS

Recovery Oxygen Masks feature a rubber-mounted 22mm/oxygen adaptor fitted to a tough polycarbonate mask with dual vents, not valves, thereby allowing unrestricted inhalation and exhalation.

  • The Aspirator Mask with rubberized adaptor fits onto the induction end of the appropriate resuscitator for the patient
  • A vacuum formed by the resuscitator helps clear the airway and draw mucus from the nose of patient prior to resuscitation

The Aspirator Mask is made from the most durable materials available

  • Mask is wide section polycarbonate
  • Polycarbonate adaptor is rubber-mounted so will not crack when dropped
  • Diaphragm is made from high tear resistant, chemical resistant thermoplastic rubber
  • Most competing masks crack where the connector meets the mask body. This is because they are molded in one piece to save costs
  • Often the diaphragm on competing masks crack and tear easily this is generally because they are either made from material which is lower cost and incompatible with polycarbonate (which draws the elastomer from the diaphragm) OR the material is unable to withstand contact with cleaning chemicals
  • The material our diaphragms is neutral with polycarbonate and has high chemical resistance so it will last much longer
  • The Aspirator Mask has been successfully trialed at Massey University in New Zealand
